Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dryer.
Regular Filter Maintenance
Clean the filter after each drying cycle to ensure optimal performance and prevent overheating. Open the door, pull out the filter, open it, and use a moist hand to clean it. If necessary, clean with warm water and a brush.
Condenser Cleaning
To prevent blockages and maintain efficiency, clean the condenser regularly. Open the loading door, release the condenser door by moving the release button, unlock and lower the condenser lid, then pull out the condenser carefully to avoid spilling any residual water.
Check the Drum
Before each use, check the drum for any foreign objects such as coins, safety pins, or screws that could cause damage. Remove any such items to avoid damaging the appliance.
Proper Load Management
Avoid overloading the dryer. Adhere to the maximum load volume specified in the programmes chapter to prevent prolonged drying times and potential damage.
Avoid Certain Materials
Do not dry items containing foam rubber, waterproof textiles, or rubber-backed articles as these can cause damage and pose a fire risk.
